推特熱門《你怎麼寫X》意外發現原來W寫法也不一樣？

什麼，我還以為所有人寫Ｘ寫法都一樣，原來不是每個人都像我這樣 + / 寫X啊？至少上面這六種就沒有我的寫法。美國費城藝術家最近在推特上分享「８種寫Ｘ的方法」引發討論，原來這不但有個人的差異，還有國家的差異，光看Ｘ不同寫法，可能可以猜出你來自哪個國家？

「通常大眾認為美國寫法是7 & 8 ，英國人5 & 6，可能是因為小時候就是這樣教我們的，不曉得其他國家是怎樣。」

General consensus is that Americans do 7 & 8 while UK does 5 & 6. Probably how we were taught. Not sure about other countries

竟然還真的有人提出了合理的解釋

「沒錯，下上下上寫起來真的比較快，不過這是學習單，所有(美國)幼稚園都是這樣教從上面往下寫的，我想這是因為以前只有鋼筆的時代，比畫從上往下寫比較容易？」

It's true that down-up-down-up is much faster way to write (like cursive!) but as guide sheet shows all (U.S.) pre-schoolers are taught to write all letters top to bottom. I think this is throwback to fountain pen era when pulling down is easier, less messy than pushing up.????
