恐怖遊戲《Close to the Sun》如果科學家尼古拉‧特斯拉的研究超出了電磁學領域...？

近來這種結合科幻、科學的恐怖遊戲越來越多，製作過《NERO》、《ENKI》等獨立遊戲開發商Storm in a Teacup發表了這款第一人稱視點恐怖遊戲《Close to the Sun》於德國科隆電玩展GC 2017活動中首度公開遊戲資訊與影片。

《Close to the Sun》的時代背景建立在科學研究盛興的20世紀初，架空遊戲舞台是科學家尼古拉·特斯拉在公海上的豪華客船研究所兼博物館，可以看到裏頭有運用交流電的螢光燈和無線電等裝置。

不過，船上進行的秘密實驗似乎出了什麼差錯，船上到處都是身穿白袍的研究人員的屍體、血肉內臟散落在整個大廳，死狀相當悽慘。玩家扮演的是一位年輕記者，尋找深入船內被困在其中的姐姐...

昏暗的色調、復古科幻背景，讓不少玩家覺得頗有Bioshock的氣氛～

遊戲裡用「Thin Air」稀薄的空氣來形容眼前看不到的怪物，到底這是不是尼古拉‧特斯拉的研究之一呢？

《Close to the Sun》對應PC/PS4/Xbox One，預計2018年問世。
